The Verdict
Weapons is an original horror-mystery from Zach Cregger that centers on suspense, dread, and an unsettling supernatural premise rather than identity messaging. Its cast is diverse in a way that fits a modern suburban setting, and there's no notable race/gender-swapping, LGBTQ+ focus, or preaching. This is a clean entry on the WokeMeter — it's about scares, not sermons.
