About

WokeMeter is a Rotten-Tomatoes-style site with one twist: instead of rating quality, it rates how much heavy-handed identity messaging a movie or show contains.

Every title gets two numbers. The AI Woke Score is the critic — generated by a model that grades each title against a transparent seven-point rubric and shows its evidence. The Audience Score— the audience number — is the crowd's call: viewers vote “Woke AF” or “Not Woke,” and the number is the share who said Woke AF.

The point isn't outrage. It's a consistent, explainable, browsable read on a thing people argue about endlessly — backed by the receipts.

How to read a score

AI Woke Score

AI Woke Score

The critic. Our AI grades each title 0–100 against the seven-point rubric, with the receipts for every call.

Audience score

Audience Score

The crowd. The share of viewers who voted “Woke AF” rather than “Not Woke.”

Who's behind it

WokeMeter is independently built and run — no studio money, no network parent, no media conglomerate. The scoring method is published in full, every score shows its evidence, and when we change the rubric we re-score everything under the new rules rather than quietly mixing old and new numbers.

Spotted a mistake, or think a score misses the mark? Vote on the title — the audience number exists precisely to push back on the AI — or get in touch.

A note

Scores are critical opinion and commentary, not statements of fact. Film and TV data and images are provided by TMDB.
