The Verdict
The Next Step is an apolitical teen dance drama centered on competition, rivalry, and romance. Its cast is naturally diverse for a modern Canadian setting, but there is no identity-messaging agenda, preachiness, or character swapping. This is a clean entry by WokeMeter standards.
