The Verdict
The Chosen is a faithful, reverent dramatization of the life of Christ with essentially none of the progressive identity messaging this scale measures. Its casting fits the historical setting, and while it is inherently religious in tone, that reflects its subject matter rather than activist preaching. Clean across nearly every axis.
