The Verdict
Kickin' It is a straightforward Disney XD family martial-arts comedy with no meaningful identity messaging. Its cast has the mild, setting-appropriate diversity common to contemporary kids' shows, and Kim being a strong fighter is a positive character trait, not girlboss messaging. Clean across nearly every axis.
