The Verdict
Citadel is a glossy, big-budget original spy thriller that leans on a competent female co-lead but contains little to no identity messaging. Nadia Sinh is a strong agent who often outshines the amnesiac Mason, but the show never sermonizes or frames men as the problem. The diverse cast fits a globe-trotting espionage setting, and with no source material, there's nothing to betray. Mostly clean on the woke axes.
